There were a lot of patterns used in this week\'s build. So many great contributions from the people over at modthesims. If I have failed to credit anyone, please send me a message and I will add to the overpopulated list ;D Needed it\'s own separate blog entry!

I think I\'ve given a shout out to everyone, and even to one who wasn\'t a part XD Another modthesim member had a very similar pattern, so I said thank you even though I never downloaded, lols. Hope all of the creators I\'ve mentioned enjoy my lot, and thank you muchlies. You have given so much to the Sims 3 world.

Summer of Love

I\'m currently working on the \"Summer of Love\" neighborhood challenge home for Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs and Jack Kerouac. The Summer of love is a 60\'s themed neighborhood project held by the crew on the Build n\' Share forums, where the community comes together and builds the neighborhood in one week. It\'s based off of Sunset Valley. So if you want your own \"Summer of Love\" town, just start bulldozing (or download Flabaliki\'s pre-bulldozed Sunset Valley/Riverview emptied upload at ModTheSims.)

So my inspiration for my build comes from this floorplan for an eco-friendly 60\'s underground housing from www.familyhomeplans.com

The layout won\'t be exactly the same as I\'m building on 17 Maywood Lane and am restricted to the lot size and position. But I\'m doing my best to emulate the style and hope it will bring something unique to the community. I\'ll be editing this later with story and link to download when the lot is complete.

I\'m not even sure if any of that will show up in your game, as you likely have to have the package installed. If you wish to see my character in the outfits, you may need to download all of these from the links provided.

In order for sim to have same look in game, the following skin and eye default replacements will be needed. Keep in mind that default replacements replace all your sims skins and eye textures. And you may need to delete all cache files from your My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3 folder.

Plumbob Beach Retreat

There are two versions available. The first has a smaller waterfall, done using a pool square and pond edging with terrain adjustments. The second \"Redux\" is a much larger waterfall, surrounded with vegetation and rocks which is done with the column technique. Tutorial on Sims Supply by Flabaliki.
